Know Who You Are

Know Who You Are

Acts 27: 23.
”For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve”

When Boris Johnson was discharged from the hospital, he acknowledged certain nurses and doctors who stood by him 24/7 while on admission fighting covid 19.

It’s important to note that the only reason why these nurses stood by his bedside all through the period was because he is the Prime minister of the United Kingdom.

Now if that is how men are able to care for their own, how much more will your heavenly Father not cause His angels to keep guard over you during times of trouble. The key is for us all to come to a full grasp and revelation of who we are in Christ.

Here are 3 important revelations of who you are in the Kingdom of God :

  1. You are a child of the most high God.
‘…. blessed be Abram of the MOST HIGH GOD, possessor of the heaven and earth’. (Gen 14: 19)
Indeed, you belong to a higher and a better Kingdom.
  2. You are highy esteemed & loved.
”And he said, O Daniel a man greatly beloved” (Dan 10: 11)
This was the regular greeting of the angel who visited Daniel. Know that you are the apple of God’s eyes.
  3. You are engraved in the palms of His hands. (Isa 49 :16).
That means your issues, troubles and challenges are always before Him; you just cannot be ignored or forgotten by God because you are His treasured possession. (Deut 7: 6)

Dear friend, there is no more room for inferiority complex. Rather, like the Apostle Paul, don’t just know who you are (identity), but whose you are (possession) and whom you serve (a living God). Glory to God!

Be rest assured, all the forces of heaven are working for your good even in this difficult season.
